As a eleven-year experienced texturing and surfacing artist. I frequently work in Linux or Windows and multi-software such as Mari, Zbrush, Photoshop with completed pipeline. As for surfacing, I was using Maya or Katana to create photo-real and even styles characters, props and environment.
